HOW I WORK
My aim is not to change people but to offer them a safe and confidential space where change can take place, indoors or outdoors.
In all my coaching, both indoors and outdoors, I use amongst other coaching approaches Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Compassionate Communication and Focusing – a way of helping you to connect more deeply to your body and its messages. I create a safe and confidential environment in which you feel at ease and comfortable when discussing difficult feelings and situations. I am solutions-oriented and non-directive, guiding you towards your goals. I can help you move forward with action points and help you set and meet your commitments. I use practical exercises to support you in seeing multiple perspectives, finding different ways of thinking and generating new ideas.
As your life coach:
I will
- offer you a safe, confidential and unbiased space to think and talk.
- help you create space in which change can take place.
- offer you uninterrupted listening time.
- offer you my curiosity and interest in your best thinking.
- give you my firm belief that you have all the resources you need to find your own solutions.
- ask questions that can help you unlock your potential and gain a different perspective on life.
- offer you help to draw up an action plan at the end of each session that is manageable and at the same time stretches you to do and to try out new things.
- offer you support via email in-between sessions.
I won’t
- give you answers to your questions.
- give you advice (occasionally I make suggestions if you ask for them).
- tell you what to do and how to do it.
- hold you accountable for doing your action points. What you commit to doing after each session is for your benefit (not for mine!).
