DAY RETREAT: NEW YEAR, NEW POSSIBILITIES

  • Led by Karen Liebenguth and Hosted by Breathworks Online via Zoom United Kingdom (map)

This day retreat has been designed to set you on a path of new possibilities for 2023. You will explore how to bring awareness to habits that may be limiting you and develop practices for nurturing a healthy and balanced mindset.

The first half of the day will look at common habits of the mind that can set us on a downward spiral. These include attachment, sluggishness, restlessness, anxiety and doubt. We will explore how to recognise limiting habits, and most importantly how to approach them with awareness, kindness and sensitivity.

The second half of the day will examine how you can nurture a positive mindset for new possibilities to flourish in your life. You will learn practices of mindfulness that can be antidotes to unhealthy habits and explore ways of creating more openness, clarity, stillness and equanimity in day-to-day life.

The retreat day will consist of guided meditations, reflective practices and peer discussion in small and larger groups.

“Working with our mind is one of the most remarkable things we can do with our human life” - Vidyamala Burch, Co-founder of Breathworks.
